Before I talk about breakfast at one of Mayfair’s hottest cafes, I just want to share a bit about it’s owner, Ralph Lauren. When Ralph Lauren was at school he wrote down ‘millionaire’ as one of the goals he had. Years later he is a billionaire & head of one of the world’s most recognised & respected brands.

I remember watching a documentary about Ralph Lauren’s story of success about some years ago, & being impressed at his incredible work ethic. It’s fascinating to see how someone can come from a completely different background, & turn something into gold dust.

Which is what Lauren did with his brand, & even when success came his way he didn’t stay still. He kept innovating, & trying different things. And continues to.

The secret of success? Persistence & a bit of bravery are important ingredients I think..

Back to breakfast? Read on..

You can now sip on a special blend of coffee at the trendy Ralph Lauren cafe & bar that has opened on Regent’s street. Perfectly positioned next door to the Ralph Lauren flagship store for hungry Mayfair shoppers.

You might walk right past it if you aren’t looking though.

When you walk in, you’ll be transported into a world of Ralph Lauren. It’s a small intimate setting, with subdued lighting, brass topped bar, dark wood panelling & the classic Polo memorabilia.

The word cosy springs to mind.

Perfect for a quick stop in between shopping marathons.

The table spacing is snug, seating 24, & 12 seats at the bar. Walls lined with equestrian paintings.

I liked that there was variety on the menu, they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner options. You can choose from a selection of curated vibrant savoury & sweet bites.

The staff are attentive and orders are served with a smile.

We went for breakfast to Ralph’s Coffee & Bar. Verdict: the Avocado toast served with coffee was good. Definitely will be back to sample more of the menu.

There are also branches in Paris, & NYC. Where have you been lately that you loved?

Didn’t know Ralph Lauren have a café. I’ve visited the Gucci café when I was in Milan but wow Ralph Lauren’s café looks so much more posh! I’m feeling so hungry now that I’m reading your blog at night..
